This guide allows users to change their primary email address on Aladia. It verifies the new email through a 6-digit code, and upon confirmation, updates the primary email and logs the user out of the app.
To add a secondary email, users must verify their current password and confirm it via a 6-digit verification code. Once verified, the secondary email is added. To remove a secondary email, users simply click the Remove option next to the email address and confirm the action.
Users should see a section titled Secondary Email with a button labeled + Add. Click the + Add button to open a pop-up or modal window.
Add the current password in the provided field and submit it.
Clicking the ๐๏ธ icon will toggle between showing and hiding the password text. Once verified, a new input field will appear to enter the secondary email address.
Enter the new email address. After entering the email, click the Send Code button. If the user doesnโt receive the code, they can request it again by clicking the Resend Code button.
Open the inbox for an email from Aladia within the expected timeframe. If not found, check the spam folder.
Look for an email containing a 6-digit verification code. Return to the pop-up in the application, which should now have a field for entering the verification code.
Type the 6-digit code from the email into the provided field.
Click Confirm, and the system will verify the code.
