This guide helps users manage their professional and academic experiences on Aladia. It walks through how to add, edit, or remove entries under Work Experience, Education, and Certificates. With clear navigation options and detailed input fields, users can keep their profiles up to date. Additionally, experiences linked to organizations or courses on Aladia automatically reflect on related profiles.Work Experience#
This guide outlines the process for adding, editing, deleting, and managing work experience on Aladia. Users can access the Work section to add job details. Existing entries can be modified or removed through the options menu, with changes saved instantly.Navigate to Work Experience#
There are two ways to access the Work Experience section:Option 1: From Top-Right CornerClick the Profile Picture at the top right corner. Navigate to the Work section.
Option 2: From the Left SideClick the Profile Picture from the left-side bar. The Profile Page will be displayed.
Click the Edit icon on the profile picture. The Settings pop up will be displayed.
In the Settings pop up, locate and open the Work section.
Add Work Experience#
Click the (+) button to open the Add Work Experience popup.
In the popup, complete the following fields:Search and select an organization that has an Aladia account, or choose a suggested organization that does not have an Aladia account.
The organization domain is automatically filled if the organization is selected from the search.
Choose the appropriate Job Type (for example : Hybrid, On-Site, Remote).
Specify the Contract Type (for example: Full-Time, Freelance, Internship).
Add the Work Location in the address field.
Add relevant Skills related to the job.
Choose the language (for example: English, Italian).
Provide the Start and End Dates by selecting the From and To dates. Alternatively, check "I'm currently working here" if users are still employed in this role. Provide a brief description of the job responsibilities.
Click on the Save button to add the experience.

If the work experience is linked to an organization present on Aladia (meaning the user selects the organization as the workplace), the experience will also be displayed on the organization’s profile page under the Collaborators section, showing a card with the user’s profile.
Edit and Delete Work Experience#
Click on the three-dot menu on the specific work experience entry to edit.
In the dropdown menu, click on the Edit option. In the popup, update the fields to change.
Click the Save button to save changes.
To Delete Work Experience:Click on the three-dot menu on the specific work experience entry to delete.
In the dropdown menu, click on the Delete option. In the confirmation popup, click the Delete button to proceed with the deletion.
Set as Main Work#
Click on the three-dot menu on the specific work experience entry to set as Main Work Experience.
In the dropdown menu, click on the Set Main option. The work experience will be set as Main, and users will see main Work next to the name of the organization.

Education Experience#
This guide allows users to add their education experience to their profile. They can enter details such as the institution name, degree, course category, skills, and dates. Once added, the information appears on their profile and can be updated or removed anytime. Users can edit details such as the school name, degree, and skills, or delete the entry entirely if needed. Navigate to Profile Education Setting#

Option 2: From the Left SideClick the Profile Picture from the left-side bar. The Profile Page will be displayed.
Click the Edit icon on the profile picture. The Settings pop up will be displayed.
In the Settings pop up, locate and open the Education section.
Add a New Education Experience#
Click on the (+) button. The Add Education Experience pop-up will appear.
In the popup, complete the following fields:Add the Organization name of the educational institution.
Enter the Organization domain, which is the official website of the institution.
Select the Degree Earned (for example: Bachelor's, Master's, PhD).
Specify the Course category (for example: Machine Learning, Data Visualization, Big Data, Data Mining).
Select the Course Type (for example: On-Site, On-Live, On-Demand).
Provide the Address of the educational institution.
Choose Relevant Skills acquired during the education.
Specify the Main Language used in the course.
Select the Start and End Dates for the education period.
Write a brief Summary about your education experience.
Click on the Save button to add the education details to your profile.

If the education experience is linked to a course available on Aladia (meaning the user purchased a course from a teacher or organization), the experience will be automatically created. Upon course completion, a unique certification will be issued for the user. The education experience will also appear on the profile of the organization or teacher under the Alumni section, displaying a card with the user’s profile.
Edit or Delete Education Experience#
To Edit Education Experience:Choose the Educational Experience to edit or delete.
Next to the educational experience, click on the three-dot menu button. This will open a dropdown menu.
In the dropdown menu, click the Edit option. This will open the Edit Educational Experience pop-up. In the pop-up, update the necessary fields.
Click the Save button to update the educational experience.
To Delete Education Experience:Click the Delete button in the dropdown menu. A confirmation pop-up will appear.
Click the Delete button to confirm and remove the education entry.

Certificates#
This guide allows users to add certificates to their profile by entering details like the issuing organization, degree, skills, and dates. Certificates are displayed in the profile and linked to the Skills section. Users can also delete certificates, ensuring their profile stays updated. Navigate to Certificate Experience#
Option 1: From Top-Right CornerClick the Profile Picture at the top right corner.
Navigate to the Certificate section.
Option 2: From the Left SideClick the Profile Picture from the left-side bar. The Profile Page will be displayed.
Click the Edit icon on the profile picture. The Settings pop up will be displayed.
In the Settings pop up, locate and open the Certificate section.
Add Certificate Experience#
Click on the (+) button in the bottom-right corner to open the Add Certification Experience popup.
In the popup, complete the following fields:Provide the Organization name of the certificate provider.
Enter the Official website URL of the certificate provider.
Choose the Degree Earned (for example: Master of Arts in Molecular Biology).
Provide the Credential URL where the certificate can be verified.
List up to five relevant skills associated with the certificate. These will also appear in the Skills section of your profile.
Specify the Certificate's language.
Select the Issue date of the certificate.
Set the Expiration date, if applicable, or check the No Expiration Date box.
Add a Description of the certificate or achievement.
Click on the Save button to add the certificate to the profile.

Certifications related to Aladia courses are automatically generated upon completion of the corresponding education experience.
Edit or Delete a Certificate#
Next to the certificate, click the three-dot menu button.
In the dropdown menu, click Edit and update the necessary fields.
Click on the Save button to apply the changes.
Click the three-dot menu button to open the options.
Select Delete button from the dropdown menu. A confirmation pop-up will appear. Click Delete to confirm.
The certificate will be removed from the Certificates section.
