Structural Rules#
It's not possible to create lessons without first defining at least one belonging module
Every module, to exist, must be connected to a subject
A course must always be placed within a folder, which in turn is contained in a space
These rules make the educational flow logical, traceable, and organized.š Technical Prerequisites and Access#
Technical Compatibility#
To ensure a smooth and problem-free experience, the use of modern and updated browsers is recommended. Minimum requirements include:Browser: Chrome (version 90 or higher), Firefox (88+), Safari (14+), or Edge (90+)
Internet connection: Stable, with at least 5 Mbps to access high-definition content
JavaScript must be enabled
Full compatibility with desktop, tablet, and smartphone devices
Account Creation#
Registration occurs via email, with address verification
It's necessary to complete the personal profile (entering name, photo, biography, etc.)
For those who want advanced features, an optional AI plan is available
Users who want to sell courses or create public spaces must complete identity verification
š Types of Space and Course#
Spaces š#
In Aladia, every content lives within a "Space". There are different types of spaces, designed for different needs:Shopping Space: personal space that automatically collects all courses purchased by the user
Created Spaces: spaces that the user has built from scratch to organize their own courses; they offer full freedom and control
Shared Spaces: collaborative environments where multiple users can work together, each with defined permissions
Course Types š#
Each course can be configured in one of the following formats:On-Demand: pre-recorded content available at any time
Live: live lessons, with real-time interaction through integrated Meet
Hybrid: a combination of the two previous modes
š§ Supported Educational Models#
Aladia is flexible and supports different pedagogical models. Here are the main ones:1. Static Group (Multi-subject)#
Chapters represent temporal blocks (e.g., weeks, months)
Within each chapter, multiple subjects coexist
Central coordination is provided to oversee general coherence
Suitable for traditional school contexts, such as high schools or secondary schools
2. Individual Rotation (Single-subject)#
Chapters follow a thematic rather than temporal logic
Each course focuses on a single subject
The user can advance more autonomously or in a personalized way
Ideal for technical courses, university, or continuing education
3. Mixed Model#
Courses can contain both live and asynchronous components
Shared events can belong to multiple courses simultaneously
Excellent for complex structures, but requires careful coordination
š ļø Operational Terminology#
Term | Description |
---|
Chapter š
| Subdivision of a course, useful for organizing material according to temporal or thematic logic |
Subject š | Specific discipline, connected to one or more specialist instructors |
Module š¦ | Coherent collection of lessons on a specific topic |
Lesson š/š¹ | Actual educational unit, can be static (text, video) or live (interactive) |
Virtual Room | Integrated online environment for real-time lessons, based on Google Meet |
Roles#
Each space can be shared among multiple users, each with different permissions:Role | Permissions |
---|
Owner | Complete control of the space, including deletion |
Supervisor | Can create and modify content, but not delete the space |
Coordinator | Manages calendar, rooms, and access |
Member | Can participate in courses, but not modify content |
š Creation Workflow#
Manual#
To create a course manually, follow this sequence:1.
Define the course type (live, on-demand, hybrid)
2.
Structure the course chapters
3.
Associate each chapter with one or more subjects
4.
Create educational modules within the subjects
5.
Insert lessons into the modules
6.
Configure any live rooms for synchronous lessons
7.
Perform complete tests to verify coherence and usability
8.
Publish the course or send it for review (if required)
With AI#
Alternatively, you can leverage artificial intelligence to create more quickly:1.
Describe the general objectives of the course
2.
Let Aladia suggest a coherent educational structure
3.
Specify the subjects (including identifying color and associated instructor)
4.
Automatically generate basic content
5.
Review suggested materials, integrating them if necessary
ā ļø Common Errors to Avoid#
ā Creating lessons without connected modules or subjects
ā Mixing temporal chapters with thematic chapters in the same course
ā Assigning roles with inconsistent permissions
ā Forgetting to configure the room for live lessons
ā Publishing courses with incomplete content or placeholders
ā Ignoring license status for protected contentšļø Educational Calendar and Events#
Each course or space can include a calendar, visible to involved users.Main Features#
Weekly, monthly, or per-course view
Integration with Google Calendar or Outlook
Addition of live events, deadlines, or reminders
Automatic notifications via email or app
The calendar is useful for planning live lessons, deliveries, or interactive meetings. It can be updated by both the Coordinator and the Supervisor, if authorized.šļø Archiving and Versioning#
Every content on Aladia can be archived or duplicated for future reuse. What you can do#
Archive courses, modules, or lessons that are no longer active
Restore previous versions of content (versioning)
Duplicate courses or entire structures to adapt them to other contexts
Export static content in PDF, Markdown, or HTML format
The archiving function keeps everything organized and allows "living" management over time, without losing data.š¤ Real-time Collaboration#
Aladia allows collaborative content creation:Internal comments between teachers or coordinators
Reviews with modification history
Co-creation of modules or lessons in simultaneous mode (real-time collaboration)
Notifications for every significant modification
This approach makes group work more fluid and reduces errors or duplications.š¬ Chat, Interactions, and Community#
Aladia integrates communication tools to facilitate collaboration, comparison, and support among teachers, students, and educational teams.Internal course chat
Each course can include a dedicated chat, visible to participants. Ideal for questions, updates, and informal communications.Direct messaging between users
Users can write privately through profiles, with the possibility of attaching files or internal links to Aladia (e.g., lessons, modules).Space Forum (if activated)
In each space, a forum-style bulletin board can be activated, for public and asynchronous discussions, organized by topics.Reactions and comments
On lessons and content, it's possible to leave comments or reactions, useful for encouraging interaction and collecting feedback.Moderation and Security#
Moderators or space owners can control sent messages, report inappropriate content, or silence users
Every message is subject to internal logging (audit trail), in compliance with GDPR regulations
š Integrations and API#
Security#
Every API access can be protected with dedicated tokens
It's possible to revoke or limit access at any time
Advanced dashboard to monitor API calls
Webhook#
Receive real-time notifications on events such as: course creation, payment made, chat updates, calendar modifications
Automatic retry mechanism in case of error
External Integrations#
Synchronization with calendars (Google, Outlook)
Payment management through Stripe
Analytics and tracking export
Connection with external storage services
šÆ Best Practices#
Organization#
Assign clear and consistent names to courses, chapters, and modules
Design a modular structure, reusable in other spaces as well
Always keep documentation updated
Make backups before significant modifications
Use multimedia content optimized for the network
Design with attention to accessibility (colors, fonts, contrast)
Verify that everything is compatible with mobile devices
Monitor metrics to optimize usage
Security#
Periodically check user permissions
Protect content from unauthorized copies (e.g., watermark)
Maintain an audit trail for every important modification
Mastering these concepts will allow you to design, share, and manage educational experiences in a clear, effective, and professional way. Aladia is a powerful and flexible platform, capable of adapting to the needs of individual trainers as well as large organizations. Start from the basics and gradually build increasingly sophisticated educational environments, with the support of advanced tools and intelligent automations.Modified atĀ 2025-05-27 14:33:17
