This guide outlines the process for saving and managing chat messages efficiently. To save a message, users navigate to the Chat Tab, select a conversation, and right-click on a message to choose Save. To manage saved messages, users access the Info Panel from the ellipsis menu, where they can view, filter, search, and organize saved messages. Filters include sorting by date, sender, or selecting all messages, while a right arrow icon (>) allows quick navigation to the original message in the chat history. This structured approach ensures easy retrieval and organization of important messages.Save Messages on Chat#
Navigate to the Chat View#
Option 1: Through the MarketplaceNavigate to the Marketplace. Click the Profile Picture from the left-side panel. Click on the Chat Tab. The Chat Page will appear.Option 2: Using the Message iconClick the Message icon in the top-right corner. The icon displays the number of unread messages. Click on the Chat View button to open the chat. The Chat Page will appear.Option 3: Through the menu iconClick the menu icon in the top-right corner. Scroll down and select the Message icon. The Chat Page will appear. Save Messages#
Click on a user whose messages you want to save. The chat body will appear with the previous chat history.
Right-click on a message you want to save, this includes (messages, files, images, videos, and other files).
A pop-up will appear with the options: Reply, Pin, Forward, Save, Select, and Delete.
Click on the Save button to save the message.
Click on the Unsave button to remove the saved status of the message.
Manage Saved Messages#
Open Chat & Access Saved Messages#
Click on a user where you have saved messages.
The chat body will be filled with the chat history, including both saved and unsaved messages. Click on the three-dot menu on the top right corner of the chat body.
Alternatively, users can click on the room or contact name at the top of the chat body to open the Info Panel.
A dropdown will appear with the options: Info, Select Message, Mute, Clear Chat, and Delete Chat.
Click on Info to access the saved messages. The Chat Panel will appear on the right side, displaying activities with the selected user.
Under the user’s profile, a Saved Messages section will appear with a count of saved messages. Click on the Saved Messages tab to open the Saved Messages Panel.
Manage Saved Messages Panel#
The Saved Messages Panel will list all the saved messages.
In the top right corner, you will find three options:Calendar icon: Filter saved messages based on the date when the room was created.
User profile icon: Filter messages by sender.
Select All (✔️)icon: Select all saved messages.
At the top, use the Search field to search for specific saved messages.
Each saved message will display:(>) right arrow icon: Clicking this icon will take the user directly to the original message in the chat history.
