This guide helps users seamlessly discover and manage suggested connections, ensuring a personalized and engaging networking experience. Designed to enhance user interaction, this feature enables users to build strong networks by following others and initiating conversations. Users can explore suggestions through a smooth-scrolling carousel or expand to a comprehensive list with advanced filters for user type, location, skills, and experiences.Suggested User Carousel#
Navigate to Suggested UsersGo to the Feed page and scroll down.
The Suggested User section is displayed, with users sorted by the number of followers for enhanced relevance.
View Suggested Users
Each user appears in a card format featuring:Profile image, name, and bio.
Follower and following counts.
Action buttons: Follow and Message.
Click the Follow button. The button state changes to Following, indicating a successful connection.
Click the Following button to unfollow the user. The button state reverts to Follow.
Click the Message button to initiate a conversation. A chat panel opens for direct messaging.
Navigate to a User ProfileClick on the userโs profile image or name to access their profile page.
Navigate through suggestions using the left ( < ) and right ( > ) chevrons.
The carousel scrolls smoothly, dynamically loading new users as you progress.
Show More#
Click the Show More button to view a full-page list of suggested users.
Filter Panel#
Click the Filter button to access the filter popup, which offers various filtering options.
Select one or multiple filter criteria from the options above.
Click the Apply button to view results matching your preferences.
Filtered Results#
The filtered results appear on a full-page view, sorted based on your selection.
Applied filters are displayed as chips at the top of the results page.
Each chip includes an (X) icon for quick removal of individual filters.
The Filter button dynamically updates to reflect the number of applied filters.
Clear All Filters#
Click Clear All Filters to remove all applied filters.
The filter panel closes, and all selected chips are cleared from the results page.
The (X) Icon#
Clicking the (X) icon closes the filter panel.
Selected filters are preserved, allowing you to reopen the panel without losing progress.
