This guide helps users mention a post on the platform by clicking the Mention button to add a mention along with their thoughts. Users can mention up to two levels deep, meaning they can mention a post that has already been mentioned. However, the Mention button will not be available for nested mentions beyond the second level. Unlike reposts, reactions, comments, and share counts will be recorded on the originally mentioned post. Users also have the option to remove a mentioned post if needed.Mention a Post#

Initiate the MentionNavigate to the Feed page. Locate the post you want to mention.
Click the Share button. Select Mention from the options.

Create the Mention PostThe popup closes automatically, and a new post creation popup opens.
The original post is embedded within the new post.
You can add text or mention someone before publishing.

Publish the Mention PostClick the Send icon to publish the mention post.
A progress bar appears at the bottom left, indicating the mentioning process.
Mentioned Post Characteristics#
Mentions are shared on the user's profile and feed.
Unlike reposts, reactions, comments, and share counts are recorded on the originally mentioned post.
Create Second Level Mention Post#
Navigate to the mentioned post. Click the Share button.
Select Mention from the options. The pop-up closes automatically, and a new post creation popup opens.

Click the Send icon to publish the mention post.

Share Mention Post#
Open the Share Options#
Navigate to the Feed page. Locate the mention you want to share.
Click the Share button located at the bottom of the post. A pop-up appears with 4 options.
Select a Sharing Method#
Option 1: Copy LinkClick the Copy Link button to copy the post's URL.
Paste the link into a browser (even without an Aladia account) to verify accessibility.
Click the Repost button to instantly share the post on your profile.
Reactions, comments, and share count will be recorded on the original post.
Click the Mention button to add your thoughts related to the selected post.
A pop-up will open, allowing you to add your thoughts and mention users.
Click the Send icon to share the mentioned post.
Reactions, comments, and share count will be recorded on the mentioned post.
Select multiple users to share the post via one-to-one chat.
A text box appears at the bottom where you can add a message.
Click the Send icon to share.
A toast notification will confirm that the message has been shared successfully.

Delete Mention Post#

Open the Options MenuThe Profile page under the Posts tab.
Locate the mentioned post you want to delete.
Click the (...) Icon at the top-right corner of the mentioned post.

Initiate DeletionSelect Delete from the dropdown menu.
A confirmation popup appears.
Click the Delete button to confirm.

Mention Post RemovalThe mentioned post will be permanently deleted and will no longer be visible in the feed or profile.
The mention count on the original post updates correctly, reflecting the removal.
