This guide helps users through the process of sharing photos, videos, and Loom recordings within the chat. Users can upload media files directly from their device and send them in conversations. Shared files can be accessed later through the Info Tab, where they can be filtered by file type, user, or date. For Loom recordings, users can start a screen recording, configure settings, and share it instantly in the chat. After sharing, they can view comments, copy the link, or watch the video on Loom.Share Photos and Videos#
Navigate to the Chat View#
Option 1: Through the MarketplaceNavigate to the Marketplace. Click the Profile Picture from the left-side panel. Click on the Chat Tab. The Chat Page will appear.Option 2: Using the Message iconClick the Message icon in the top-right corner. The icon displays the number of unread messages. Click on the Chat View button to open the chat. The Chat Page will appear.Option 3: Through the iconClick the icon in the top-right corner. Scroll down and select the Message icon. The Chat Page will appear. Upload and Share a File#
Select the chat to share the file. Click on the (+) icon located in the text box to share a file. From the pop-up menu, click on the Photo or Video button.
A window will appear to select the file from local storage. Select the specific file you want to share and click on the Open button in the window.
Once the user selects the file, click on the Send button to share the file. Click on the (X) button to remove the selected file if they decide not to share it. Once the file is sent, users can view it under Shared Files, located in the Info Tab.
Accessing Shared Files in the Info Tab#
Click on a chat where the user shared or received files. The chat body will display the chat history, including saved and unsaved messages.
Click on the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the chat body.
Alternatively, the user can click on the name of the room or the person they are chatting with at the top of the chat body to open the Info Panel.
A dropdown menu will appear with options: Info, Select Message, Mute, Clear Chat, and Delete Chat.
Click on Info to open the Info Tab. Navigate to the Shared Files section to view all files sent and received in the chat.
After navigating to the Photo & Video section, users can apply filters for better file organization.Filter by File Type: Choose from categories such as Photo, Video, or GIF.
Filter by User: View files shared by a specific participant in the chat.
Filter by Date: Narrow results to files shared on a specific day.
Once the desired filters are selected, click the Apply Filter button in the bottom right corner to filter the files.

Sharing Loom Recording#
Start the Loom Recording#
Select the chat where you want to share the recording.
Click the (+) icon located in the text box.From the pop-up menu, click the Loom button.
The Loom recording panel will open, prompting you to sign in if required. Choose the recording type: Full Screen, Window, or Browser Tab.
Configure the recording settings:Enable/disable the camera.
Enable/disable the microphone.
Click the Start Recording button. The recording will begin after a short countdown.
Capture the content you want to share. Click on the Stop Recording button Recording when finished.
Share the Loom Recording#
After stopping the recording, a pop-up will appear with the recorded video preview. Click Copy Link to manually share the video, or click Insert Video to add it directly to the chat.
The Loom recording will appear as a message in the chat. Other users in the chat can click the link or embedded video to watch the recording.
After sharing the Loom video, users have the following options:View Comments: Check and respond to comments on the Loom video.
Share Loom: Copy and share the video link.
Watch on Loom: Open the video directly on Loom for more viewing options.
