This guide helps users through the process for finding specific messages quickly within a chat using keywords, user filters, and date filters. This eliminates the need for manual scrolling and ensures efficient message retrieval. Users can refine search results by filtering messages from a particular sender or selecting a specific date. Once a message is found, they can navigate directly to it, making chat history more accessible and manageable.Search Message#
Navigate to the Chat View#
Option 1: Through the MarketplaceNavigate to the Marketplace. Click the Profile Picture from the left-side panel. Click on the Chat Tab. The Chat Page will appear.Option 2: Using the Message iconClick the Message icon in the top-right corner. The icon displays the number of unread messages. Click on the Chat View button to open the chat. The Chat Page will appear.Option 3: Through the iconClick the icon in the top-right corner. Scroll down and select the Message icon. The Chat Page will appear. Search Function#
Click on the Search Icon (🔍) located at the top of the chat window. A search bar will appear. Type the keyword related to the message you are looking for.
The search results will display messages that match the keyword.
Filter the Search Results#
To refine results, apply filters:Filter by User: View messages sent by a specific person within the chat.
Filter by Date: Locate messages shared on a particular day.
Once filters are selected, the search results will be updated accordingly.
Navigate Search Results#
Click on any search result to jump directly to the message in the chat.
If there are multiple results, use the Next (→) and Previous (←) icons to navigate between results.
To clear the search, click on the Close (✖) icon in the search bar.
