This guide outlines how users can access and navigate the chat panel. Clicking the message icon opens the panel, displaying frequent chats, a search bar for chats, groups, and spaces, and a button to access the full chat view. Users can create a one-on-one chat room by clicking Go to Chat View, selecting the ellipsis menu, and choosing New Room. A search panel will appear to find and select a user, creating a chat room that is added to the chat list. Users can then send messages, which will appear in the chat history.Create One-to-One Room#
Navigate to the Chat View#
Option 1: Through the MarketplaceNavigate to the Marketplace. Click the Profile Picture from the left-side panel. Click on the Chat Tab. The Chat Page will appear.Option 2: Using the Message iconClick the Message icon in the top-right corner. The icon displays the number of unread messages. Click on the Chat View button to open the chat. The Chat Page will appear.Option 3: Through the iconClick the icon in the top-right corner. Scroll down and select the Message icon. The Chat Page will appear. Create One-to-One Room#
On the chat body , Click on the three-dot menu to open a small pop-up with additional options:New Room: Create a one-on-one chat room.
Settings: Customize chat by changing the username color.
Upon clicking the New Room button, a search panel will be displayed.
Search for a user (for example: Jon Doe) using the search functionality and the user will appear in the search results.
Select a user from the search results and A chat room will be created and appears in the chat list. Send a message in the chat and the message will appear in the chat history.
