Public profile and branding

The workspace's social profile (cover, logo, name, bio, about), the primary color and the favicon with its browser-tab preview.

Draft · 07/10/2026

In Settings > Branding you decide how the workspace presents itself: its public page, colors, the site favicon, emails and the app. Owners and Admins manage it; in the personal workspace, its owner. View profile in the top right opens the workspace's public page, so you can check the result right away.

Workspace public profile

The first section is identical to Settings > General > Profile, but it edits the workspace's profile instead of yours:

  • Cover: press Change cover on the cover.
  • Logo: press the camera icon on the logo circle. Logo and cover are cropped in the editor before saving and are saved immediately.
  • Below the logo you see the name and, if the workspace has an Aladia address, @address (the same as address.aladia.io, which you change in Settings > Domain and email).
  • Public name: the workspace name, up to 80 characters. It is the same name shown in the workspace switcher and in emails.
  • Bio: one line shown under the name, up to 500 characters (the counter shows 0/500).
  • About: the full introduction, up to 2000 characters.

Name, bio and cover (or the logo) are also the preview of links to the academy's site on WhatsApp, Facebook and LinkedIn: see Link previews and SEO.

Cancel brings the texts back to the last save, Save publishes the changes. The logo you upload here is the workspace logo across the app (menu, switcher, public page) and, until you upload a favicon, the site icon; the logo in the email header is chosen separately in the Email section.

In the personal workspace the public profile is your own profile: the section shows the same fields as Settings > Profile (first name, last name, bio, about) and changes apply in both places.

Colors

The workspace primary color, as hex (#1a2b3c) or from the picker. It is saved with its own Save.

Favicon

The favicon is the icon shown in the browser tab and in bookmarks when someone opens the workspace site.

Above the upload there is a preview: a browser tab with the three dots, your favicon next to the workspace name and, in the address bar, the site address:

  • the custom domain (for example app.yourschool.com) when it is active, see Domain and email;
  • otherwise the Aladia address address.aladia.io.

If you have not uploaded a favicon yet, a grey checkerboard takes its place. The preview follows the app's light or dark theme.

Format and size:

  • PNG, SVG or ICO, up to 1 MB;
  • square and at least 32 × 32 pixels; 512 × 512 is best, so it stays sharp as an iPhone Home screen icon too;
  • a transparent or solid background both work: a PNG is redrawn at the right size with rounded corners, SVG and ICO are served as they are.

Replace swaps it, the bin removes it and the site goes back to the workspace logo (and, without a logo, the Aladia icon). Browsers cache favicons: the new one can take up to an hour to show.

Email and mobile app

  • Email: the sender name, Reply-to and the logo in the email header. See Sender and reply-to and Academy emails.
  • Mobile app: name, icon, splash logo and background color for your custom app build.
