Your academy's emails
Which emails carry your academy's name, logo and colors, which leave from your domain, what students see and how to check it.

Emails about your academy are sent on its behalf: the academy's name, logo and colors, replies to your mailboxes and, if you connected a domain, links and sender on your domain.
What students see
For example, a student who picks Forgot password? on app.yourschool.com receives:
- From:
Leonardo Academy <notification@mail.yourschool.com>(with the Email track active) orLeonardo Academy <notification@aladia.io>; - Subject: "Reset your Leonardo Academy password";
- the academy's logo and color in the header, no mention of Aladia in the text;
- the button leads to
https://app.yourschool.com/reset-password…: they choose the new password on your domain and sign in there.
The same goes for the youracademy.aladia.io address: the link goes back to that address.

Reply-to is always the confirmed mailbox of the right area (see Sender and reply-to): replies to "forgot password" and to the code go to the Accounts mailbox.
Security emails stay with Aladia because there is a single account: the same person can study in several academies.
Who gets it branded
- Forgot password requested from
app.yourschool.com: with the academy's brand if the person belongs to the academy (staff, teacher or student). Otherwise it comes from Aladia with a link to app.aladia.io: nobody can send an arbitrary user a link to another school's domain. - From the
youracademy.aladia.ioaddress it applies to everyone. - From app.aladia.io emails are Aladia's.
What you need
- Name, logo, cover and colors: Settings > Branding (see Public profile and branding).
- Links on your domain: the Site track active in Domain and email.
- Sender from your domain: the Email track active. If the records stop being valid, emails go back to
notification@aladia.iowith the academy's name right away, without anyone noticing.
How to check
- Open a private window on
app.yourschool.com/forgot-password. - Enter the email of a test account that is a student of the academy and press Send reset link.
- In the inbox check sender, subject, logo and that the button leads to
app.yourschool.com. - In Gmail, Show original:
DKIMandDMARCmust say PASS with themail.yourschool.comdomain (only with the Email track active).
